Want to start feeling better? Then start doing things differently.

Unplug your TV and social media, breathe deep, sleep, eat well. Meditate, do yoga, read and learn. Do something that makes you feel happy, get a hobby or something to distract you from your situation.

In reality, not everything is "black and white", this world is colorful.

Connect to nature, life, go for a walk in the park. Put aside your problems and help other people, you'll feel better.

Don't take things too serious, we're here for a short time, and no one knows anything for sure, really.

Make a conscious effort to watch your thoughts and subsequent emotions. Realize that everyone is going through the very same stuff in life, and everyone is having problems, even if it's not apparent on the surface. Let in some compassion in your thought process.

If you learn to appreciate every little thing in life, you'll learn a way to endless happiness.

Try to see beauty in everything around you, open your mind to other views and perspectives, and substitute negative thoughts with positive ones as much as possible.

Find strength and comfort in the examples of heroes of the past (and present), spirituality, benevolence, goodwill, compassion, and charity.

You'll feel better, the world will feel better.
